ROBBIE MULLINS IS A DUBLIN BASED PHOTOGRAPHER AND IMAGE MAKER. AFTER GRADUATING WITH A BA IN PHOTOGRAPHY FROM IADT IN 2016, HE SPENT THE FOLLOWING YEARS LIVING IN BERLIN GERMANY AND NEW YORK CITY WHICH GREATLY INFLUENCED HIS PHOTOGRAPHIC PRACTICE AND INTERESTS. PREDOMINATELY WORKING WITH PORTRAITURE, HIS PREVIOUS WORK HAS DISCUSSED TOPICS SUCH AS GENDER STUDIES AND QUEER CULTURE. MORE RECENTLY HIS PORTRAITURE WORK IS DISCUSSING IRELANDS RELATIONSHIP WITH GRIEF THROUGH THE USE PHOTO JOURNALISM, WITH HIS ARTS COUNCIL FUNDED PROJECT “WE ARE BUT A MOMENT”.
BESIDES HIS PERSONAL AND FUNDED PROJECTS HE ALSO COLLABORATES ALONGSIDE OTHER ARTIST AND ORGANIZATIONS. HIS PASSION IS TO CREATE MEANING BEHIND HIS PORTRAITS AND CAPTURE HIS SUBJECTS WITH VULNERABILITY HONESTY AND INTENTION.
